Description Old metal hand vise with slender octagonal ivory handle that tapers at end. Vise head opens and closes by sliding a brass band mounted at base of vise head. Bears no manufacturer's stamp. Originally belonged to Johannes Newton Wunderlich (1843-1924), Philadelphia Dental College, third graduating class of 1866. Practiced dentistry until 1922.
